Please take the right hand stairways after the ticket gate. Go outside the station and turn left, and then turn right at Takio Shrine with an orange-colored gate as a landmark. Walk up the street until you get to the main street and turn left. The third building on the left is Kohakuan. There is a Daily convenience store on the opposite side of the street.

1. Take the JR Nara line to Tofukuji station (one stop from Kyoto station)
