From Kawaramachi Station

Go out exit 1B and turn right. Walk towards the McDonalds, for just a few meters, and then turn right on the street before the McDonalds. Keep walking straight right beside the Takasegawa River. You will see a Thai restaurant with the national flag of Thailand (blue, red and white striped flag). There are two Thai restaurants so be sure to turn at the second one. Once you see the second restaurant turn right to cross the small bridge. Then turn left on the first street. Keep walking straight for 30 seconds and you will see Shikokuan (White painted townhouse with black wall) on the right hand side.

From Kyoto Station

1. Take the subway to Shijo Station

2. Take a short walk to Karasuma Station to transfer to the Hankyu Line

3. Get off at Kawramachi Station and walk to Shikokuan

From Umeda Station (Osaka)

1. Take the Hankyu Line (Catching the rapid express service is recommended)

2. Get off at Kawaramachi Station and walk to Shikokuan

From Kansai Airport (Osaka)

1. Take the JR Express HARUKA line to Kyoto Station

2. Take the subway to Shijo Station

3. Take a short walk to Karasuma Station to transfer to the Hankyu Line

4. Get off at Kawaramachi Station and walk to Shikokuan
