Located in central Gion and a leisurely walk to Kiyomizudera Temple
"Gion-Minami Banka" is found in the ideal location for those who are looking to explore all of Kyoto, from the famous Kiyomizu Temple to the lesser known Ebisu Jinja Shrine.

If you get an early start to your morning, round the corner towards Kenninji Temple and join a “zazen” experience -- the practice of seated meditation, or take a morning stroll towards Kiyomizu Temple.

In the evening, walk down towards Hanamikoji Street to witness the numerous machiya restaurants light up under the glow of red and white paper lanterns. Yasaka Shrine, which is a 5 minute walk away, offers the occasional outdoor food stall & festivals various times throughout the year.
