Starting at your machiya house, this 1-hour long private tour will take you on a relaxing walk through Gion, Kenninji Temple, Ebisu Shrine, and more to showcase a side of this city that you would never find in any guidebook or online.

Learn about traditional rituals that locals take part in when visiting shrines and temples, walk through hidden alleyways and side streets that maiko girls and geiko women walk along, and hear about the significance of traditional machiya houses that dot the city.

Whether it is your first or your tenth time walking along the famous stone-cobbled streets of Gion, this morning tour will without a doubt introduce to you another side of Kyoto city.
